This year we are hopeful to make the transition from organisation to charity. Our plan for this is to grow The Liquid Weapon into a bigger, better platform that provides services that aren't already available. We are thrilled to be able to bring you this new and hope that you'll continue to support us during this exciting time.

The Liquid Weapon is an organisation fighting the battle against Acid Attacks in the UK. Our mission is to eradicate the issue that has increased by 90% over the last 10 years. This problem is hugely impacting our society, affecting hundreds of people. Corrosive liquid violence is becoming more prevalent within gang crime, hate crime and domestic violence due to its accessibility and huge psychological impacts. In terms of justice, little is served when it comes to the conviction of this evil crime.

This visual platform is here to raise awareness of this issue, sharing survivors' stories and informing people on the subject. Please help to support this issue, together we can help to stop this horrific crime. Our role is to tell you stories of survivors who have been victim to these horrific attacks. Through the medium of photography, we aim to illustrate how prevalent this issue is, one that needs to be heard.

Below is a interactive map showing the number or corrosive liquid attacks that occurred in London between 2014 to 2016.
